The Slow Pitch series by Artico consists of three distinct models: Light, Medium, and Strong, each carefully designed to meet the specific needs of slow pitch jigging. However, thanks to their versatility, these rods are increasingly being recognized as “universal” tools, being used in a variety of techniques and circumstances.
The rod blanks are constructed in two sections, with the “put-in” butt inserted directly into the handle, following the Japanese tradition, optimized for use with baitcasting reels.
Undoubtedly, the distinctive feature of the series lies in the final 30 cm of the tip, made entirely of Dynanotex. This material is chosen to offer the ideal combination of elasticity and responsiveness, resulting in excellent sensitivity and quick reaction during the jerking action of the jig. This feature is essential in slow pitch jigging, where the quick recovery of the tip plays a crucial role in the optimal handling of flat jigs, ensuring precise and effective action.
